The rights of members of the public to access environmental information that is held by public authorities is set out in the European Communities (Access to Information on the Environment) Regulations 2007 to 2018:

Statistics

NORA maintains records of all AIE requests that it receives and annually reports statistics relating to AIE to the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC). This information is collated by the DECC and forms part of the publicly available national database of AIE statistics.

As recommended by the DECC, NORA also publishes its own AIE statistics. These are available below.
